Every Alpha One Electric project follows the same four-phase process — whether it’s a single GFCI replacement or a whole-home rewire. No surprises, no shortcuts, no “we’ll figure it out as we go.”
The work itself takes care — the path that gets us there is straightforward and the same every time. Here’s exactly what to expect.
Call or text. We respond same-day for most LA estimate requests. We schedule a free site visit — usually within 24-48 hours, often same-day if you call before noon.
On the visit, Yarden walks the property, looks at the panel, examines the relevant locations (kitchen, garage, equipment pad, attic, wherever the work touches), and asks the right questions. Photographs anything that matters. Discusses scope, materials, timeline, and any considerations specific to your home.
Once you approve the written estimate, we pull the permit through the right authority — LADBS for City of LA, LA County DPW for unincorporated areas, City of Malibu Building & Safety for Malibu. You don’t make any calls. We file, pay, and post.
For panel upgrades and major service work, we also coordinate the LADWP service drop — scheduling the shutoff date, meeting their crew on-site, handling the inspection. Permit issuance for residential electrical typically lands within 3-5 business days.
One crew. Same team from rough-in to final trim. Siemens panels, Leviton Decora finish devices, rigid steel conduit on exterior runs, copper wiring sized to NEC 2023 throughout. We test every circuit under load before calling anything done.
Larger projects get a clear day-by-day schedule communicated up front. We work clean — drop cloths down, debris bagged at end of day, walls patched where we cut. The job site looks the way the work looks.
City inspector arrives. We’re onsite. We walk them through the work. First-pass inspection success is the standard — for the rare time something needs rework, the cost is on us, not you.
You get the signed inspection card, the permit close-out documentation, the as-built circuit schedule, and a written workmanship warranty in your file. Everything you need to satisfy insurance, escrow, or your peace of mind five years from now.
The person who quotes your work is the person who finishes it — and the person who answers when you call back five years later.
Permitted work. Premium materials. Written workmanship warranty. Owner-operated.
